A wonderful family in Virginia Beach is seeking a highly experienced, reliable, and professional full-time Nanny on a live-out basis to join their household long-term. The role is fully focused on the exceptional daily care of their 2-month-old baby. The family is looking for someone confident with infants who can grow with the family over time, and who can gently guide and support first-time parents when appropriate.
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, loving daily care for the baby.
Plan and lead developmentally appropriate activities
Maintain consistent daily routines that support healthy feeding, sleep, and development.
Support healthy sleep habits and routines; experience with sleep training preferred.
Baby laundry and nursery organisation.
Prepare healthy meals for the baby once solids are introduced.
Take the child to parks, activities, and age-appropriate outings.
Coordinate closely with the parents on routine, progress, and the baby's evolving needs.
Requirements:
Previous professional nanny experience, preferably in a similar long-term position.
Strong infant experience; confident guiding and supporting first-time parents when appropriate.
Knowledge of infant development and age-appropriate activities.
Familiarity with sleep conditioning and healthy sleep habits.
Valid US driver's licence; comfortable driving the child when needed.
Open to travel domestically and internationally with the family. (desirable)
Flexibility for occasional overnights, weekends, and overtime hours. (desirable)
A second language (desirable)
Valid US work authorisation.
CPR / Pediatric First Aid certification preferred.
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday - exact schedule to be decided
Salary Offered: $35+ per hour
