Weekend shifts 12 hour shifts available
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver In-Home Private 1 to 1 to provide personalized, high-quality care for a woman in her homes. This vital role involves supporting clients with daily activities and emotional well-being, ensuring they live comfortably and safely. The ideal candidate will bring energy, empathy, and a proactive approach to caregiving, making a positive difference in clients’ lives through attentive, respectful support.
Duties
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety and confidentiality
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed
- Support patients with mobility using proper patient transfer methods.
- Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient progress, and any changes in condition in compliance with healthcare standards
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive environment for clients
Requirements
- Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or in senior care environments such as nursing homes or assisted living facilities
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and first aid/CPR certification
- Familiarity with care plans, dementia and Alzheimer’s care, memory care, hospice care, and home health services
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely while assisting with transfers or mobility tasks
- Strong communication skills for client interaction and coordination with healthcare professionals
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is highly desirable
- Valid certifications in first aid, CPR, and HIPAA compliance are required
