Visien Ministries is actively hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide compassionate, in-home care for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in New Jersey.

Position Summary
As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals by assisting with daily routines, supporting behavioral goals, and ensuring a safe, supportive environment. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s life—right in their own home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living tasks (bathing, dressing, meals)
- Support behavior plans and encourage positive behavior
- Assist with transportation to appointments and community activities
- Keep a clean and safe home environment
- Work closely with care teams to implement personalized support plans
- Offer companionship and emotional support
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Understanding of behavior management and HIPAA compliance
- Basic first aid and vital sign monitoring
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Must use your own car. Mileage reimbursement included .56 cents per mile.
