Job Summary
We’re looking for a passionate and organized Kitchen Manager / Line Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you’ll oversee daily kitchen operations, lead food preparation, and ensure our standards for quality and safety are met. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing kitchen workflows while maintaining a positive team atmosphere.
Duties
- Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality food production.
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
- Oversee food safety practices, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
- Assist in menu planning and development to keep offerings fresh and appealing.
- Coordinate with catering and banquet teams to deliver exceptional service for special events.
- Lead by example in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and efficiency within the kitchen environment.
Skills
- Proven experience in food production, kitchen management, or restaurant supervision.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Extensive culinary experience, including fine dining and catering environments.
- Knowledge of inventory management, food safety regulations, and dietary considerations.
- Excellent cooking skills with an eye for detail in food presentation.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting while maintaining quality standards.
