Job Summary
Join micro1 as a Referral Partnerships Lead and play a pivotal role in scaling our global referral ecosystem. In this role, you will recruit, onboard, and grow a network of referral partners, including individuals and lead-generation organizations that help expand our acquisition channels.
This is a highly relationship-driven position focused on partner recruitment, activation, and long-term ecosystem growth. You'll work closely with leadership and growth teams to develop scalable referral programs, optimize partner performance, and build a thriving global referral network.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, onboard, and activate individuals and lead-generation organizations into the referral partner program.
- Build and scale a multi-layer referral ecosystem that drives company acquisition through downstream referral channels.
- Develop outbound strategies to identify, engage, and recruit high-potential referral partners.
- Educate partners on referral processes, incentives, best practices, and program requirements.
- Manage partner onboarding, engagement, communication, and long-term relationship development.
- Configure and manage custom referral fee structures when applicable.
- Create playbooks, training materials, and enablement resources to help partners grow their own referral networks.
- Track referral activity, partner engagement, activation rates, and network growth metrics.
- Identify top-performing partners and implement strategies to maximize their contribution.
- Collaborate with leadership and growth teams to optimize referral programs, incentives, and operational processes.
- Continuously improve systems and workflows that increase referral network expansion and acquisition performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in partnerships, affiliate marketing, referral programs, community building, business development, or network-driven growth.
- Proven ability to recruit, activate, and manage external partners.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience working with incentive-based or performance-driven partner ecosystems.
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting and partner acquisition.
- Highly organized with excellent project management and follow-through.
- Data-driven mindset with experience tracking KPIs and optimizing partner performance.
- Self-motivated and comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building referral, affiliate, ambassador, or partner ecosystems.
- Experience working with lead-generation organizations or independent business development partners.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms, referral tracking systems, and partner management tools.
- Experience in recruiting, staffing, AI, technology, marketplaces, SaaS, or other high-growth organizations.
- Demonstrated success scaling partner programs that generated measurable business growth.
