Overview
We are looking for an LLC Entity Service Processor. You will execute the administrative, clerical, and filing tasks required to form, maintain, and dissolve Limited Liability Companies. You will serve as the production engine of the entity lifecycle, interacting directly with state systems (like Secretaries of State) to submit documents and track approvals.
Core Responsibilities
- Document Preparation: Draft and format state-specific formation articles, amendments, dissolutions, and foreign qualifications according to strict statutory guidelines.
- Filing Submission: Submit physical and electronic filings to government agencies, tracking statuses and quickly correcting any rejected submissions.
- Service of Process Processing: Log, scan, and securely route time-sensitive legal mail, subpoenas, and official state correspondence to clients or internal legal teams.
- Data Entry & Records Maintenance: Update corporate registries and tracking systems with approved filing dates, state ID numbers, and compliance deadlines.
- State Fee & Invoice Reconciliation: Calculate precise state filing fees, manage corporate credit lines or check requests, and issue client invoices for processing costs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or Associate's Degree required; Paralegal Certificate is a major plus.
- Experience: 1–2 years in high-volume administrative processing, data entry, legal support, or registry service industries.
- Industry Knowledge: Basic familiarity with corporate terminology (e.g., Articles of Organization, Registered Agents, Certificates of Good Standing).
- Skills: Exceptionally fast and accurate typing skills, strong data entry precision, and comfort using online government portals and document management workflows.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Turnaround Time: Process and submit assigned entity filings within the department's standard 24-to-48-hour window.
- Filing Accuracy Rate: Maintain a target rejection rate of under 2% for filings submitted to state agencies.
- Data Precision: Achieve 100% data match between approved state documents and internal database records.
Pay: $800.00 - $1,200.00 per week
