OCDetailers is on the hunt for a Shop Manager—someone who can lead from the front, keep the wheels turning, and make sure our high-end jobs are getting done on time, on point, and on brand.
We’re not your average detail shop. Since 2017, we’ve built our rep on delivering elite-level
paint protection film (PPF), ceramic coating, window tint, and detailing. Now, we need a leader
who can manage the chaos, push the pace, and help us keep raising the bar.
What You’ll Be Running:
● A growing crew of PPF Installers, Ceramic Coaters, Detailers, Tinters & Admins
● A busy schedule of automotive jobs across multiple services
● A clean, organized shop with top-tier tools and a no-BS culture
Core Responsibilities:
● Oversee daily shop operations, crew assignments, and workflow pacing
● Work closely with the admin/scheduling team to ensure jobs are booked, prepped, and
ready to roll
● Quality control – inspect completed work and make sure every job meets OCDetailers’
bada$$ standards
● Communicate with clients as needed—professional, clear, and cool under pressure
● Help train new hires and elevate the skill level of the team across services
● Track shop inventory, order supplies, and minimize waste
● Manage shop cleanliness, organization, and safety protocols
● Troubleshoot issues on the fly and keep the crew focused on solutions, not problems
● Keep tabs on time tracking, job completion logs, and team performance
What You Bring to the Crew:
● Experience managing a shop, team, or service-based business (automotive/marine
industry = major bonus)
● Strong leadership skills—you know how to motivate without micromanaging
● A deep understanding of at least one of our core services (PPF, tint, ceramic, detailing,
etc.)
● Excellent communication and decision-making skills
● Killer organizational habits and a cool head under pressure
● Detail-obsessed mindset—you don’t miss the little stuff
● Comfortable using shop management software, scheduling tools, and digital systems
● A reliable, professional presence—you’re the heartbeat of the operation
