Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment that fosters the growth and development of young children. The applicant will be committed to providing exceptional care and education to our preschoolers, ensuring their emotional, social, and cognitive well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with our educational philosophy and curriculum goals.
- Plan and organize daily activities, including arts, music, and outdoor play.
- Create a safe and stimulating learning environment that promotes socialization and exploration.
- Establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Monitor and document student progress, identifying areas of strength and improvement.
- Implement classroom management strategies to maintain a productive and respectful learning environment.
- Provide first aid and emergency care as needed.
- Support the emotional and behavioral development of students with diverse needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, progress, and communication with parents.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Development, or a related field.
- Proven experience working with young children, either in a classroom or in a nannying or childcare setting.
- Knowledge of preschool care practices and curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management skills and experience working with students with diverse needs.
- Ability to provide first aid and emergency care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with children, parents, and colleagues in a professional and respectful manner.
- Experience working with students with special needs is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
