ATE Recreation | Full-Time | Independence, MN
ATE Recreation is seeking a Foreman to lead a court surfacing installation crew serving the Twin Cities area. We specialize in the installation and surfacing of tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts, delivering high-quality recreational spaces for communities, schools, and private facilities.
Each workday begins and ends at our shop in Independence, where crews prepare materials and equipment before heading to job sites throughout the metro area.
Position Overview
As Foreman, you will lead a small crew of 2–3 team members responsible for completing professional court surfacing projects. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee projects from start to finish—from loading materials at the shop to managing on-site installation and ensuring a high-quality finished product.
You will also serve as the primary on-site representative of ATE Recreation, communicating with customers and coordinating with company leadership to ensure projects run smoothly.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking hardworking and reliable individuals with experience in construction or related fields who take pride in delivering quality work.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience in construction, painting, landscaping, or similar hands-on trades (training provided)
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Leadership ability and comfort directing a small crew
- Clear communication skills when interacting with customers and teammates
- Willingness to work 40–60 hours per week during the season (Overtime Pay Applies)
- Clean driving record
- Positive attitude and team-first mindset
- This is a primarily outdoor job in summer months, so must have heat tolerance with the ability to maintain a steady pace in high temperatures
- Capability to perform repetitive tasks (lifting, bending, reaching, or standing) for 8 to 10 hours a day

Compensation: $25-35/Hr depending on qualifications

Experience:
- Construction/Painting/Landscaping: 1 year (Preferred)
- 1 Year leadership experience (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
Ability to Commute or Relocate:
- Maple Plain, MN 55359- Should live within 45 Minutes of our Independence shop (Required)
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
