Job Responsibilities:
- Sales Activities:
- Identifying new sales opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
- Developing and managing existing accounts to meet sales targets.
- Providing product presentations to potential clients.
- Preparing and delivering sales proposals and quotes.
- Negotiating contracts and closing sales deals.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners.
- Understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate conveyor solutions.
- Providing ongoing support to customers after sales.
- Sales Process Management:
- Managing the entire sales process from lead generation to closing to final payment.
- Maintaining accurate records of sales activities and customer information in CRM system.
- Tracking and reporting on sales progress and performance.
- Industry Knowledge:
- Staying up to date on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Participating in industry trade shows and events.
- Understanding the specific needs of different industries that utilize conveyor systems.
- Coordination and Collaboration:
- Working closely with internal teams, such as engineering, cost estimating, and program management.
- Communicating effectively with all stakeholders throughout the sales process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary degree in engineering, business administration, or marketing, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of technical sales experience in capital equipment; experience in automotive conveyor systems, paint systems, automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS), electrified monorail systems (EMS), skid conveyor systems is highly preferred.
- Existing customer base in automotive and non-automotive companies that utilize conveyance systems is a major plus
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, especially within automotive body shops, general assembly, and paint shops
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as required
