Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling a variety of electro-mechanical components and systems, ensuring each product meets strict quality standards and specifications. Your expertise in electronics assembly, electrical wiring, and schematic reading will be vital to delivering high-quality products efficiently. Duties
- Assemble electrical and mechanical components according to detailed blueprints, schematics, and IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies.
- Use hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and surface mount technology (SMT) techniques to accurately build electrical panels and electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering troubleshooting documents to ensure precise assembly.
- Install and wire PCB (Printed Circuit Boards), programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and other electronic components following blueprint specifications.
- Conduct quality inspections using ohmmeters and other testing tools to verify electrical continuity, resistance, and proper functioning of assembled units.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot assembly issues and implement process improvements for increased efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to safety protocols while ensuring all assembled products meet IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in electronics assembly, PCB soldering, electrical wiring, or related manufacturing roles.
- Strong ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams with confidence.
- Familiarity with surface mount technology (SMT), electrical panel building, and electro-mechanical component integration.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and testing devices such as ohmmeters.
- Knowledge of IPC 610 standards for electronic assembly quality requirements.
- Ability to follow detailed blueprint specifications accurately while maintaining high quality standards.
- Basic mechanical skills including machining or working with mechanical components are a plus.
