Solve real, urgent, high impact dental problems for those who cant be seen soon enough. We are a on‑demand, fee‑for‑service clinic where same‑day treatment is our default.
Lead Assistant Role:
The Lead Assistant is not a manager. They are an accountability partner for the clinical team. They uphold the DCN standards, support their teammates, and help the day run smoothly so the Dr. doesn't have to catch everything themselves.
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Ensure operatories are properly cleaned and reset to standard after every patient.
- Monitor sterilization log accuracy and consistency.
- Oversee infection control compliance across the clinical team.
- Serve as the go-to resource for clinical questions when the provider is with a patient.
- Maintain a zero-tolerance standard for contamination, "almost clean" is not clean.
Team & Operations:
- Hold the team accountable to daily cleaning and operational standards.
- Support onboarding and training of new assistants.
- Communicate supply needs and restocking gaps proactively.
- Be the first point of contact for team concerns before they escalate.
- Ensure next-day to-do lists are complete, clear, and communicated
Culture & Leadership:
- Model ownership & accountability every day.
- Anticipate provider and patient needs, prepare instead of react.
- Bridge communication between assistants and providers.
- Support a calm, organized environment that reflects DCN standard of care.
- Reinforce the team culture we are building together.
What This Role Is Not:
- A title that excuses you from clinical work, you lead by doing.
- A position of authority over patient care decisions.
- A clock in clock out job.
Schedule:
We guarantee full time (40hr/week). Lead assistants schedule will reflect the needs of the practice. Expect some night and weekend. Below are the hours DCN is open.

Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour
