We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative accounting / finance professional to join our Philanthropic Fund Management team. This role is ideal for an experienced accountant or financial analyst who enjoys combining technical financial expertise with strategic partnership and relationship management.
The analyst will support the financial stewardship, reporting, and management of philanthropic and foundation funds across the organization. Responsibilities include financial reporting and gift accounting for gift and endowment transactions, community hospital foundation accounting, fund analysis and reconciliation, budget and spend monitoring, and supporting compliance with donor intent and organizational policies.
This position requires strong analytical and critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex financial scenarios while maintaining a high level of service and professionalism. Successful candidates must be comfortable working cross-functionally with accounting, finance, development, operational leaders, physicians, and non-financial stakeholders.
A key component of the role is the ability to translate financial concepts and reporting into clear, practical language for individuals outside of accounting and finance. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as this role serves as a strategic partner helping leaders understand and responsibly manage philanthropic resources in support of organizational priorities.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Several years of experience in accounting, finance, financial analysis, or related fields
- Strong financial reporting and reconciliation skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, critical thinking is a must
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and at time ambiguous environment
- Experience in healthcare, higher education, nonprofit, or foundation accounting is preferred but not required

Pay: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
