As a Senior Software Engineer at Walmart, you will lead the delivery of scalable software solutions by managing feature implementation, testing, and ongoing support within collaborative teams. Focused on high-quality feature delivery aligned with Sam’s Club standards, the team leads efforts to detect and prevent fraudulent activities through advanced analysis and rule optimization. Members engage in development, testing, and mentoring to ensure robust site security and seamless user experiences. What you'll do:
- Own delivery of scoped features and components through collaborative engineering teams, ensuring alignment with platform and system objectives.

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code across multiple languages, driving full software development lifecycle including CI/CD and automated testing.

Integrate AI/ML components and leverage generative AI tools to enhance software capabilities and development efficiency.

Participate in solution design, conduct code reviews, and apply best practices for scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.

Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and measurable outcomes.

Monitor application performance, support defect resolution, and ensure high-quality software delivery.

What you'll bring:
- Extensive experience in software development with proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, and back-end engineering.

Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and containerization using Docker.

Expertise in solution design, data architecture, and integration testing to build scalable and maintainable systems.

Proven ability to write clean, efficient, and reliable code following object-oriented principles and documentation standards.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).
