The Administrative Specialist will provide administrative support to the Department of Theatre department and UT Theatre faculty, staff, and students. This position is the departmental resource for Human Resources/Payroll providing guidance on HR policies and procedures, as well as liaising with the College of Arts and Sciences HR team and campus partners on HR and payroll matters.
Required Qualifications
Education: High school diploma
Experience: 2 years of office or customer service experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Microsoft Office and Adobe skills.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with various constituencies, including faculty, staff, students and partners in other campus units.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and to shift priorities to meet pressing needs.
Excellent time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to be flexible and adaptable.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without need now or in the future for sponsorship for employment-based visa status.
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Associate degree
Experience: 1 year of office or customer service experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Knowledge of UT policies, especially Fiscal and HR policies.
Knowledge and experience with: DASH, Banner, Argos, lnterfolio, and/or Scholarship Manager
