Responsibilities
- Prepare, bake, and decorate a variety of pastries and desserts with attention to detail and artistic flair
- Manage food production processes, ensuring consistency, quality, and timely delivery of baked goods
- Handle food preparation tasks including mixing, piping, icing, and assembling desserts in accordance with recipes and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food handling regulations
- Assist with catering events by preparing specialty desserts and supporting on-site food service needs
Skills
- Proficiency in food production, food preparation, and baking techniques within a commercial kitchen setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene compliance
- Experience in cooking various desserts and understanding of culinary principles in the food industry
- Ability to manage packaging efficiently while maintaining presentation quality
- Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills to engage with clients and team members
