Job Title: Lawn Care Crew Member
Higgins Lawn Care is looking for a dependable, hardworking person to help with our growing workload. The primary responsibilities will include mowing, trimming, edging, blowing off properties, and assisting with general lawn-care projects as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Mow residential and commercial properties
- Trim around buildings, fences, trees, and landscaping
- Edge sidewalks, driveways, and curbs
- Blow grass clippings off paved areas
- Perform basic equipment checks and cleanup
- Assist with yard cleanups, landscaping, and sprinkler blowouts when needed
- Work efficiently while maintaining a high-quality finished appearance
Qualifications:
- Dependable and able to arrive on time
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical labor
- Able to lift approximately 50 pounds
- Able to follow directions and work independently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Lawn-care experience is preferred, but I’m willing to train the right person
Schedule:
This position starts immediately and will run through approximately the second week of October. The employee will generally work 4–5 days per week, although hours and days may vary depending on workload and weather.
There may be an opportunity for this person to be a snowplow driver and/or return for full-time work in the spring if they are dependable, perform quality work, and are interested in continuing with the company.
Pay:
$18-25 per hour, depending on experience and reliability.
