Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic mental health and behavioral care team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health assessments, evidence-based therapeutic interventions, and case management services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Your expertise will support individuals facing a range of challenges such as developmental disabilities, substance use disorders, trauma, PTSD, and complex medical conditions. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough mental health and behavioral assessments utilizing diagnostic tools such as ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding systems to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing evidence-based approaches like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and crisis intervention techniques.
- Facilitate motivational interviewing and other client-centered strategies to promote positive behavioral change and enhance patient engagement.
- Manage case coordination by collaborating with healthcare providers, community agencies, schools, and families to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies.
- Conduct mental health interventions for patients with diverse backgrounds, including those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, PTSD, addiction issues, and geriatrics.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives by collecting data, supporting medical documentation standards, and contributing to ongoing studies related to behavioral health outcomes.

Skills
- Extensive experience in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and crisis management.
- Proficiency in motivational interviewing techniques to foster client motivation for change.
- Strong background in child & family counseling, special education collaboration, and working with individuals with autism or disabilities.
- Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems for efficient documentation and data collection aligned with clinical research standards.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, psychiatric patient care procedures, CPT coding, ICD coding systems (ICD-9/10), and medical records management.
- Ability to perform comprehensive mental health assessments across diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, Geriatrics care for older adults with Alzheimer’s or other neurodegenerative conditions.
- Skilled in crisis intervention strategies for managing acute psychiatric episodes or trauma-related incidents.
- Experience working within hospital settings or home & community care environments providing integrated social work services.
- Competence in applying evidence-based practices for addiction counseling and substance use disorder treatment.
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction while maintaining professional standards of clinical documentation and confidentiality.
