Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Hygienist and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care. In this role, you will utilize your expertise to promote oral health, perform thorough cleanings, and educate patients on maintaining healthy smiles. This position is 2 days a week, Monday and Tuesday's
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Reviewing medical histories to ensure safe treatment plans.
- Take imaging such as X-rays, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
- Go over treatment that has been diagnosed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment notes, and medical histories in Dentrix.
- Follow infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a sterile environment.
- Uphold HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality at all times during record handling and communication.
- Hygiene licensing as required by state law where applicable.

Pay: $60.00 - $63.00 per hour
