Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong commitment to maintaining beautiful landscapes. This role involves various tasks related to lawn care, garden maintenance, and overall landscape management. The Landscape Laborer will work closely with our team to ensure that properties are well-kept and aesthetically pleasing.
Responsibilities
- Perform mowing and lawn care duties to maintain healthy grass and landscapes.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Assist in garden maintenance, including planting, weeding, and watering plants.
- Dig and prepare soil for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Participate in snow plowing during winter months as needed.
- Provide tree care services, including pruning and trimming as required.
- Collaborate with team members to complete landscaping projects efficiently.
Skills
- Proficiency in mowing techniques and lawn care practices.
- Experience with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruners.
- Familiarity with power tools like trimmers, blowers, and chainsaws is preferred.
- Knowledge of landscape design principles is a plus.
- Ability to dig effectively and maintain soil health for optimal plant growth.
- Strong attention to detail in maintaining gardens and landscaped areas.
- Capability to perform snow plowing tasks during winter months when necessary.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards outdoor labor.
