Position Summary
Old Gringo Boots is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Part-Time Retail Sales Associate with luxury goods sales experience to join our team at our flagship store in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has a passion for Western fashion and craftsmanship, and has a desire to create the ultimate boot-buying experience, whether it is for a first-time boot buyer or a brand collector.
As a Retail Sales Associate, you will provide exceptional customer service, help customers find the perfect boots and accessories, maintain an attractive sales floor, and contribute to achieving store sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and create a welcoming shopping experience.
- Assist customers with selecting boots, apparel, and accessories that fit their style and needs.
- Share product knowledge, including boot fit, leather care, and brand features.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain store appearance through merchandising, stocking, and organizing displays.
- Assist with inventory management, receiving shipments, and restocking merchandise.
- Build customer relationships that encourage repeat business.
- Support store promotions, events, and sales initiatives.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and loss prevention.
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience with a strong sales background.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as needed.
- Passion for customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
- Interest in Western fashion, footwear, and lifestyle brands is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
