Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated D2D Canvassing Lead to spearhead community engagement and face-to-face outreach efforts. Duties
- Develop and Lead a team of canvassers in door-to-door outreach campaigns across designated neighborhoods
- Train team members on effective canvassing techniques, community engagement strategies, and safety protocols
- Coordinate daily schedules, assign territories, and monitor team performance to ensure goals are met
- Engage with residents through face-to-face conversations, explaining our mission and gathering support or feedback
- Utilize mobile devices to record data, track progress, and communicate with team members in real-time
- Foster positive relationships within communities by demonstrating excellent customer service and negotiation skills
- Ensure safety standards are maintained during outdoor work and handle any issues or concerns that arise during canvassing activities
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in field sales, marketing, or community outreach roles
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage conversationally and persuasively in face-to-face interactions
- Experience with door-to-door canvassing, telemarketing, or outdoor sales environments
- Ability to walk extensively outdoors in various weather conditions using transportation methods such as walking or biking
- Bilingual skills are highly desirable to connect with diverse communities effectively
- Demonstrated success in fundraising, community engagement, or social advocacy campaigns
- Excellent organizational skills for managing schedules and tracking data via mobile devices
- Outgoing personality with a passion for community service and outdoor work experience
