Job Summary
This is a supervisor position that is responsible for ensuring the level of service and standards of the University of Utah Stadium and Arena Concession Services are met on a consistent basis. They will ensure that staff is properly trained and will assist them as needed.
Responsibilities
Obtain a working knowledge of all Stadium and Arena Concessions policy and procedures with the ability to communicate and train effectively to staff and NPO groups
Responsible to meet with staff and non-profit groups to review the details of the event
Check all staff is following along with proper dress code, ensuring that personal hygiene and appearance is meeting our standards in attire and appearance.
Ensure that all of the University’s concession stands meet the requirements of the Board of Health
Will build and maintain attractive displays of products sold in respective stands
Conduct walk through after events to ensure all areas have followed the closing procedures
All other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands:
Exposed to continuous walking, standing, and twisting
Exposed to intermittent bending, squatting, kneeling and climbing stairs
Must be able to work in outside conditions, including snow, rain, wind, and heat
Minimum Qualifications
One year customer service or related experience or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); demonstrated human relations and effective communications skills; and basic computer skills required.

Preferences
Working knowledge of stand set up and closing standards and procedures
How to operate, clean and maintain stand equipment
Knowledge of food and beverage products and cooking procedures
Health and safety rules, regulations, and laws
Extensive customer service experience is a must
Ability to effectively to communicate with staff
Experience managing fast paced food operations
Ability to work with in a team environment
Must be able to work late evenings, holidays, and weekends
Must be able to work at all venues.
Must be able to speak and understand English
Experience managing multiple locations
Knowledge of food handling rules and regulations
Experience with point of sale systems
