Crestwood Healthcare and Rehabilitation seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists to provide rehabilitative services to patients.
Sign-On: $5000.00
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with occupational therapists to develop and implement treatment plans
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities to improve their motor skills and independence
- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
- Educate patients and families on exercises and techniques for continued improvement
- Maintain a clean and organized therapy area
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with acute care settings and occupational health practices
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques is a plus
