Duties

- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring all requests are noted and communicated effectively to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Assist with bussing tables, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for the next guests.
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, processing payments while maintaining security protocols.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests with recommendations.
- Manage time efficiently during busy periods to ensure timely service for all tables.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members alike.
- Basic cash handling experience is beneficial for processing payments accurately.
- Willingness to learn about menu items and participate in ongoing training sessions.
