Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of rebar, formwork, and concrete pouring to ensure structural integrity.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently on various construction sites.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to support accurate project execution.
- Support masonry, carpentry, roofing, plastering, and tile laying tasks as needed for diverse projects.
- Perform heavy lifting and material handling to facilitate smooth workflow and project timelines.
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe environment for everyone.
- Aid in concrete cutting, finishing, pumping, and other related activities to achieve high-quality results.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related field is highly desirable.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics accurately.
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices in a construction environment.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and heavy equipment operation.
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks such as heavy lifting, climbing scaffolding, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities to collaborate effectively with tradespeople and supervisors.
