Overview
Pantheon Clinical Research is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Research Assistant to support the conduct of industry-sponsored clinical trials. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Bountiful, Utah.
Applicants must currently reside in Davis, Weber, Salt Lake, or Utah County and be able to reliably commute to our office. Relocation assistance is not available. Applications from outside the local commuting area will not be considered.
This position is ideal for someone interested in building a long-term career in clinical research. The Clinical Research Assistant will work closely with investigators and Clinical Research Coordinators to support study operations, participant visits, patient recruitment, data collection, and administrative activities.
A key responsibility of this role will be supporting participant recruitment efforts in collaboration with our AI-powered recruiting platform. The successful candidate will help identify, screen, and engage potential study participants, gaining valuable experience in one of the most important aspects of clinical trial operations. This experience is intended to help prepare high-performing individuals for future Clinical Research Coordinator opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Assist Clinical Research Coordinators with day-to-day study activities
- Schedule participant visits and maintain study calendars
- Prepare study materials and participant packets
- Assist with participant check-in and study visits
- Support patient recruitment and retention initiatives
- Review and contact potential participants identified through recruiting campaigns and AI-assisted recruiting tools
- Conduct preliminary screening calls using study-specific inclusion and exclusion criteria
- Track recruitment metrics and follow-up activities
- Help maintain participant engagement throughout the study lifecycle
- Enter data into research databases and study systems
- Maintain study files and essential documents
- Assist with laboratory specimen processing and shipment preparation
- Track study supplies, laboratory kits, and inventory
- Prepare documents for monitoring visits and audits
- Assist with medical record review and data abstraction
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of study activities
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with study protocols and regulations
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence speaking with patients by phone and in person
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and ability to work on-site
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Health Sciences, Psychology, Nursing, Public Health, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- Experience working in a healthcare, medical office, laboratory, customer service, sales, recruiting, or research environment
- Experience with electronic medical records
- Phlebotomy experience
- Interest in pursuing a career in clinical research
Compensation
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour DOE
(Approximately $41,600 - $49,900 annually)

Pay: $41,600.00 - $49,900.00 per year
