Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Front Desk Supervisor to lead our front desk team and ensure exceptional guest experiences. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations at the front desk, coordinate guest services, and uphold the highest standards of hospitality management. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate front desk staff to deliver outstanding guest service, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes.
- Manage multi-line phone systems, handle guest inquiries with professionalism, and maintain excellent phone etiquette.
- Oversee the night audit process, reconciling accounts and ensuring financial accuracy at the end of each shift.
- Implement hotel emergency procedures promptly and effectively, ensuring guest safety at all times.
- Utilize HotelKey or similar hotel management software to update reservations, manage guest profiles, and track room availability.
- Address guest concerns promptly, resolve issues efficiently, and foster positive guest relations to enhance overall satisfaction.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations and exceptional guest experiences.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel operations with a strong background in front desk supervision.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse guests and team members.
- Extensive knowledge of hotel management systems such as OPERA or comparable platforms.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and problem resolution.
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, safety protocols, and resort experience is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multi-line phone systems efficiently while maintaining professionalism.
- Experience in handling night audit duties, ensuring accurate financial reconciliation and reporting.
