Mobile Phlebotomist – Full-Time, Part-Time & PRN
StarCare Phlebotomy Services is seeking experienced, dependable, and professional Mobile Phlebotomists to join our growing team in the Fort Lauderdale and surrounding South Florida area.
We are currently considering candidates for full-time, part-time, and PRN/as-needed positions. This opportunity may also be a great fit for experienced phlebotomists looking to supplement their income while maintaining another job.
Schedule & Availability
We are seeking phlebotomists who can provide availability:
- Monday through Friday
- Alternating weekends
- Early morning mobile facility routes — phlebotomists must be able to arrive at their first assigned facility between 3:00 AM and 4:00 AM
- Optional on-call STAT coverage based on availability
Scheduling may be flexible depending on your availability and the needs of our facilities. Additional details regarding routes, scheduling, and STAT coverage will be discussed during the interview process.
Compensation
- Paid per successful blood draw/stick
- Mileage reimbursement: $0.40 per mile
- Additional earning opportunities may be available for STAT/on-call assignments
- Compensation structure will be discussed in greater detail during the interview
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience
- Strong venipuncture skills, including experience with difficult draws
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned service area
- Dependable and punctual
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently in a mobile environment
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Ability to accurately label, handle, and transport specimens
- Nursing home, rehabilitation facility, mobile phlebotomy, or geriatric experience is a plus
