This position requires some night and weekend hours,
Roles and Responsibilities
· Assist with meat smoking schedule.
· Assist with necessary prep work.
· Alert Kitchen Lead to any spoilage and shrinkage. Assist with product rotation.
· Ensure all products meet quality standards through proper labeling, rotation, cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene.
· Ensure supplies are stocked to provide the most efficient service to our guests.
· Communicate need for materials and supplies to manager.
· Ensure health and safety standards are followed. Ensure hygiene and food safety standards are met in all stages of food preparation.
· Maintain quality control of the finished product leaving the kitchen.
· Maintain portion control standards to maximize profits.
· Communicate concerns, suggestions, feedback and ideas to Kitchen Lead or Assistant Manager.
· Ensure kitchen equipment is in clean working order and alert management of any malfunction before it impacts productivity.
· Must review and understand employee handbook.
· Other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· Knowledge of the industry and relevant health and safety regulations.
· Must be able to work safely around kitchen machinery and sharp knives.
· Have a good understanding of what makes great customer service.
· High School diploma or equivalency preferred
· Must possess a valid driver’s license.
· Must be eligible to work in the United States
· Must be able to pass a complete background check

· Candidate must possess self-discipline, initiative and a friendly personality.
· Pleasant, polite manner and neat and clean appearance is a must
· Must work well within a team
· Strong problem solving skills
· Ability to stand for long periods of time
Additional Notes
· Hours may vary if employee must fill in for another employee or if emergencies arise.
· Position requires bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing up to 45 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion.
· Work with hot, cold and potentially hazardous equipment.
· You should be available for work within operating hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
