Overview
We're looking for motivated and dependable Electrical Helpers to join our growing team. Whether you already have construction experience or are looking to build a career in the electrical trade, this is a great opportunity to work alongside experienced electricians on exciting industrial projects while learning valuable hands-on skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial electrical systems.
- Help install conduit systems including PVC, GRC, IMC, stainless steel, and aluminum conduit.
- Pull wire, assist with conduit bending, and support electrical equipment installations.
- Use hand tools and power tools including drills, saws, impact tools, and pipe threaders.
- Read and learn from blueprints, electrical drawings, and installation plans.
- Assist with material handling, loading, unloading, and organizing jobsite materials.
- Operate forklifts and personnel lifts when authorized.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow directions from Journeyman Electricians, Lead Electricians, and Supervisors.
- Travel to job sites as needed and work overtime when required.
Requirements
- Previous construction or electrical helper experience is a plus but not required.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, and move heavy materials and equipment.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in industrial environments.
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and safety minded.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record preferred.
- Willing to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and travel when needed.
