Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, windows, and furniture, ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards.
- Perform detailed floor care tasks such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining cleanliness in hallways and public spaces.
- Restock amenities like toiletries, linens, towels, and other supplies to ensure guest comfort.
- Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards and report them promptly.
- Follow established cleaning procedures using appropriate janitorial equipment and industrial cleaning products to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with guests and team members, upholding the hotel’s service standards.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed to uphold the hotel’s hygiene standards.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing surfaces.
- Familiarity with hotel operations and experience in hospitality environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality control.
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
