Position: Saw Filer
Reports to: Saw Filer Superintendent

Position Overview: The Saw Filer will be responsible for sharpening, repairing, and changing saws, ensuring their proper functioning, and collaborating with the team to enhance production efficiency.
Responsibilities:

Safely maintain saws and saw equipment.

Perform machine alignment and provide preventative maintenance to saw filing machines.

Sharpen, repair, and change saws, and knives.

Service and maintain the saw filing rom and sawmill machinery.

Ensure proper functioning of saws for efficient production.

Collaborate with other team members to optimize saw performance.
-
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
-
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Experience as a saw filer or related role.

Knowledge of saw filing equipment and procedures.

Strong mechanical aptitude.

Attention to detail and precision.

Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues.
