Job Description:
The individual filling this position is expected to play a positive role in helping the College change as necessary to effectively carry out its mission.
- Possess and demonstrate thorough knowledge of all tests offered at the Chautauqua Center in DeFuniak Springs, and Fort Walton Beach to include, but not limited to PERT, CLEP, FCLE, ACCUPLACER, HESI, NCCER, TEAS, FAA, Prometric, CPT, DSST, CLM, PearsonVue and any other certifications partners.

Proctor for students and non-students with disabilities.

Proctor above stated exams once proctor training and certification is complete.

Responsible for all administration duties pertaining to the online scheduling system.

Promptly correspond with all parties involved in a testing appointment, internal and external.

Coordinate all third party testing efforts to include cohort testing within the service area.

Respond to walk-in and telephone inquiries for information on tests.

Oversee the verification of all testing appointments to include proper identification being provided by the tester.

Maintain security of all testing materials within the Testing Center and assist with proctoring remote exams from other institutions as needed.

Enter test scores promptly and accurately.

Provide basic support to students of all ability levels. Professionally extend assistance in any area as needed.

File all testing registration forms and score report information in a timely manner.

Provide clerical support to the Director of Testing and Accommodations.

Maintain adequate inventory of office and education materials forms and supplies used by the Testing Center.

Ability to effectively communicate with staff, students, and vendors.

Perform all other duties as may be assigned.
Job Requirements:

Associate's degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Familiarity with general office procedures.

Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Experience in postsecondary education to include familiarity with testing protocol preferred.

Ability to deal with the general public to include students and faculty in a positive and effective manner.

Skilled in telephone etiquette.

Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication.

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Classification: Part-Time
Rate of Pay: $16.00 per hour
Hours: Up to 29 hours per week
Location: Fort Walton Beach, Hurlburt Field, Niceville, Crestview, DeFuniak Springs
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
