Job Title: Associate Attorney – Plaintiff Litigation (Remote) (Partnership Track)

Job Description:
Litigation-focused firm primarily representing plaintiffs is seeking a driven, aggressive, and experienced Associate Attorney with a strong background in personal injury and civil litigation. The ideal candidate will be motivated to maximize results for clients and eager to increase their own compensation through collected attorney fees. Goal is for successful associates to become partners of the firm.
Cases include personal injury, consumer claims, civil rights, sexual abuse, denied homeowner claims, class actions, medical malpractice, and other civil litigation. We do not handle family law or criminal law matters. We will occasionally help past clients in defending matters.
This is a fully remote position, though office accommodations can be arranged if preferred. We offer a flexible compensation structure that rewards initiative, skill, and results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of personal injury and civil litigation matters from intake through trial/settlement
- Take depositions, draft and argue motions, handle discovery, prepare for trial, take cases to trial
- Develop and implement AI solutions to efficiently manage cases and enable higher-level attorney work
- Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel effectively and professionally
- Participate in strategy development and case valuation discussions
- Maintain organized, thorough, and timely case files and documentation
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active South Carolina bar license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of personal injury and/or civil litigation experience
- Strong litigation skills, including courtroom and deposition experience
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Results-oriented with a competitive mindset and strong work ethic
