We are hiring Advanced Practice Providers, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our team. Reporting to the Medical Director and APP Lead Supervisor, in this role you will be responsible for overseeing the progress of a specified caseload of patients across the care continuum, acting as an educator, consultant and liaison to healthcare providers. The annual pay range for this role is $127,504.00-$161,782.40.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to patients and perform advanced practice skills under supervision of the Medical Director and facilitate patient/family education in area of expertise.
- Conduct history and physical exams, order and interpret lab tests, prescribe medications, develop and monitor patient treatment plans, make appropriate referrals to other specialists, prescribe and order appropriate treatment modalities, and perform minor procedures if necessary.
- Manage a caseload of patients in partnership with the healthcare team to optimize health status and coordinate care over time and across healthcare settings.
- May work closely with and be directly supervised by attending surgeons and other Advanced Practice Provider’s, including pre-operative and post-operative areas.
- Assist the healthcare team to achieve mutually agreed upon healthcare goals by providing necessary support, education and encouragement
Qualifications:
- Current state license (with prescription privileges) to practice as a Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Provider.
- Prior specialty experience preferred; new graduates will be considered.
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
