Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a dedicated Physical Therapist, where you will play a vital role in restoring mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing the quality of life for diverse patient populations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in physiotherapy in our outpatient clinic. Your clinical skills and compassionate approach will help patients regain independence and achieve their rehabilitation goals through personalized treatment plans and collaborative care. We treat one-on-one so expect about 9-11 patients a day!!
Duties
- Assess patients’ physical conditions by conducting comprehensive evaluations of mobility, strength, balance, and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with patient needs, medical history, and recovery objectives.
- Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions such as manual therapy, trigger point therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to promote healing and improve function.
- Coordinate discharge planning and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care transitions.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with healthcare standards and electronic health records (EHR) or electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment techniques, home exercises, safety measures, and community resources to support ongoing recovery.
- Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes across outpatient clinics, inpatient units, or home health settings.
Requirements
- Valid licensure or certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Kansas.
- Proven experience practicing in a physical therapy role within outpatient clinics, hospitals, or home health environments.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, orthopedics, neurology, geriatrics, pediatrics, and related medical terminology.
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective treatment plans for diverse populations including geriatric patients and post-surgical clients.
- Proficiency in clinical documentation standards and managing electronic health records (EHR/EMR systems).
- Excellent client communication skills to educate patients on care plans and foster a positive therapeutic relationship.

Pay: $33.00 - $50.00 per hour
