What You’ll Do:
As a Mobile Recall Scouter, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our recall outreach initiatives. This field-based role involves engaging directly with used car dealerships, repair facilities, certified dealers, and residential customers to raise awareness of open safety recalls and facilitate onsite mobile service appointments. Assigned to a specific territory, you will be responsible for conducting in-person outreach, maintaining accurate documentation, and securing service schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person outreach to locate vehicles affected by safety recalls
- Educate customers on the critical importance of completing safety recall repairs
- Communicate effectively with customers to gather information and schedule service appointments
- Coordinate with Recall Technicians and Territory Managers to ensure successful follow-up and repair completion
- Maintain accurate, detailed records of all outreach efforts and outcomes
- Utilize mapping and routing tools to optimize daily planning and maximize productivity
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve strategies and team operations
- Represent the Mobile Recall Team with a high level of professionalism and integrity in the field
What We’re Looking For
- Prior knowledge of the automotive industry is highly preferred
- Demonstrate excellence in interpersonal and verbal communication
- Proven ability to engage effectively with customers
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and consistently goal-driven
- Proficient in utilizing mobile applications and collaborative tools like Google Docs
- Maintains a professional demeanor with a strong track record of reliability
