About the Role
This is a working, hands on Lead Carpenter position—not a desk job.
You'll spend your days actively building alongside your crew while leading by example, mentoring less experienced carpenters, and helping deliver exceptional projects that reflect the Clemleddy Construction brand.
You'll work closely with our Designer and Field Supervisor while taking ownership of your jobsite and maintaining the high level of craftsmanship our clients expect.
What You'll Do
- Lead and supervise construction crews on-site, ensuring tasks are executed accurately and efficiently.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to guide project execution.
- Oversee excavation, foundation/masonry, framing, mechanicals and interior/exterior finishes.
- Manage daily site operations including equipment, material, and safety compliance.
- Coordinate with Project Managers to schedule trades, order materials, and monitor project progress.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols, building codes, and quality standards.
- Train and mentor team members in the use of hand tools, power tools, technical skills and carpentry techniques.
