This is a fully remote position.
Drive business growth by delivering innovative and sustainable packaging solutions to customers across key markets. This role is responsible for developing and managing strategic customer relationships that support both immediate and long-term revenue, margin, and market share objectives. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented sales professional who excels in consultative selling, builds mutually beneficial partnerships, and consistently delivers measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Own revenue growth and profitability for an assigned book of business.
Develop and execute strategic plans to acquire new customers, with a strong focus on the quick service restaurant (QSR) segment.
Expand and retain existing accounts through effective account management and increased customer penetration.
Maintain a robust and well-balanced sales pipeline to support both short- and long-term growth objectives.
Achieve or exceed sales, margin, and market share targets within assigned accounts and territory.
Lead pricing strategies, including implementation of price increases and margin improvement initiatives.
Account Management and Customer Engagement
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, managing all sales, service, and support needs.
Build and strengthen long-term customer relationships by identifying value-added opportunities and delivering tailored solutions.
Develop and execute annual business plans for key accounts and strategic prospects, including leading executive-level business reviews.
Advocate for customer and market needs internally to drive alignment and innovation.
Deliver accurate sales forecasts for volume and revenue planning.
Reporting and Operations
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM and sales systems, including account activity, pricing, and product development initiatives.
Provide regular updates on sales performance, pipeline status, and competitive activity.
Manage expenses responsibly in alignment with company guidelines.
Support additional projects and initiatives as needed.
Required Skills and Competencies
Consultative Selling: Strong ability to understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions that drive long-term partnerships and value creation.
Sales Expertise: Proven track record of identifying decision-makers, qualifying opportunities, negotiating effectively, and closing complex deals.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations both virtually and in person.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with packaging, manufacturing, and/or foodservice industries, particularly within QSR or chain restaurant segments.
Drive and Initiative: Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Business Acumen: Solid understanding of financial drivers, pricing strategies, and profit optimization.
Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Organization and Project Management: Strong time management and coordination skills, including managing new product development initiatives.
Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM systems, customer platforms, and tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in business, marketing, foodservice, packaging, or a related field.
Experience selling into restaurant chains, particularly QSR or convenience segments, is strongly preferred.
