Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair.
- Use POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Develop and refine beverage recipes, experimenting with ingredients to create signature drinks that delight guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
- Engage with guests proactively to provide personalized service, recommend drinks, and ensure satisfaction.
- Manage bar inventory, monitor stock levels, and place orders for supplies as needed to ensure seamless service.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate food and beverage service during busy hours or special events like banquets or catering functions.
- Demonstrate strong time management skills by balancing multiple orders while maintaining high-quality service standards.
- Uphold hospitality industry best practices by ensuring responsible alcohol service and adherence to all safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience working as a bartender in fine dining or upscale hospitality environments is highly preferred.
- knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and beverage development.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly.
- Previous food service experience including serving, food handling, catering, or banquet work is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Ability to manage cash handling accurately using basic math skills and retail math principles.
- Experience working in the hospitality industry with a focus on beverage sales and bar management is desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a lively and positive attitude.
