Job Description: Psychometrist Specialist
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled psychometrist to join our busy neuropsychology practice, serving clients full time in our Sisters, OR office. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The psychometrist will play a crucial role in administering and scoring psychological and neuropsychological assessments under the supervision of licensed practitioners.
Responsibilities:
Administer Psychological and Neuropsychological Assessments:
- Conduct standardized assessments according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Administer tests of cognitive functioning, memory, attention, executive function, and other relevant domains.
- Ensure the comfort and cooperation of clients during assessment procedures.
Score and Interpret Test Results:
- Accurately score assessment measures and compile raw data for further analysis.
- Assist in organizing and summarizing test findings for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of test materials and client information.
Maintain Testing Equipment and Supplies:
- Ensure that assessment materials are properly maintained, organized, and up-to-date.
- Monitor inventory levels of testing supplies and equipment and communicate any needs to the practice manager.
Documentation and Record-Keeping:
- Complete necessary documentation related to assessment administration, including scoring sheets and client progress notes.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of client assessments and test results.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work collaboratively with licensed practitioners, including neuropsychologists and psychologists, to support comprehensive client care.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding assessment schedules, client needs, and any pertinent information related to assessment procedures.
Professional Development:
- Stay informed about current research and best practices in psychometric assessment.
- Participate in relevant training opportunities and continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field required.
- Previous experience working as a psychometrist or administering psychological assessments preferred.
- Knowledge of standardized assessment measures and familiarity with testing protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer applications.
- Proficiency in Google Drive
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
