Job Overview
We're looking for a personable, motivated team member to join our furniture sales crew. This role combines one-on-one customer interaction with product knowledge and general office support.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers on the showroom floor with a friendly, low-pressure approach.
- Learn and stay current on our furniture inventory, features, and pricing to guide customers confidently.
- Build lasting relationships with customers to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Process sales orders accurately and follow up on customer inquiries and deliveries.
- Assist with general office tasks including answering phones, filing, and coordinating with the warehouse team.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom.
- Collaborate with the team to create a positive experience for every customer who walks in.
Schedule
- Full-time position, 40 hours a week.
- Must be available to work Saturdays
- One weekday off, Sundays off
Qualifications
- Prior sales or customer service experience preferred, but we're willing to train the right person.
- Strong communication skills and a natural ability to connect with people.
- Comfortable with basic computer tasks and office software.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
- Detail-oriented with good follow-through on customer commitments.
- Interest in home furnishings or interior design is a plus.
