Role Description: The Sales Associate is a part-time, on-site role based at our store in Tarpon Springs, FL. This role involves greeting customers, assisting with product selection, answering questions, and providing friendly, attentive service throughout the shopping experience. Daily responsibilities include operating the cash register, handling payments, packaging purchases, restocking shelves, and maintaining clean and organized displays. The Sales Associate also helps with basic inventory tasks and may support store promotions or seasonal events. This position requires reliability, a positive attitude, and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment for every customer.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage courteously and professionally with a wide range of customers.
- Basic retail skills, including handling cash and card transactions (manually making change), using a point-of-sale system, and managing receipts accurately.
- Ability to maintain store presentation through organizing merchandise, restocking products, and keeping the sales floor neat and inviting.
- Comfort with standing for extended periods, moving merchandise, and performing general in-store tasks throughout the shift.
- Reliability in attendance, punctuality, and following store procedures, including basic safety and loss-prevention practices.
- Previous retail or customer-facing experience is helpful but not required; willingness to learn and follow guidance from store leadership is essential.
- Availability to work a flexible part-time schedule, including weekends, holidays, and peak tourist seasons as needed.

Pay: $16.00 per hour
