Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and reliable Part-Time Delivery Driver to join our team.
In this role, you will be the face of our company, delivering exceptional service while transporting wines between our stores and to our customer's homes.
Duties
- Safely operate store van to transport wine and deliver orders in the East Bay area.
- Organize deliveries efficiently for timely route completion.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging politely with clients, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction during each delivery
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Physical ability to lift heavy boxes (40lbs) and perform manual tasks related to loading/unloading products
- Solid navigation skills and familiarity with East Bay
Shifts: Typically 2-4 hrs per day from 1:30-4:30pm.
Days of the Week: Wednesday and Friday (sometimes more in Nov/Dec)
Delivery Range: Most deliveries will take place in the Berkeley area but our delivery range covers a 30 mile radius, including Pinole, Oakland, Walnut Creek and all points in between. SF & Marin deliveries will not be part of the range.
Wine Retail Opportunity: For those with an interest / background in wine, this position can serve as an entry point for event work at our stores.
Compensation: $22/hr, mileage reimbursement @ $0.56/mi, tips, and staff discount on wine & beer.
