Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Painter/Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of painting and labor tasks on construction sites, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to project specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial painting and be comfortable working in various construction environments.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed.
- Execute commercial painting tasks using various techniques, including airless paint spraying.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Perform frame carpentry tasks as necessary to support painting projects.
- Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various labor tasks.
- Apply caulking to seal gaps and ensure a professional finish.
- Assist with concrete finishing as required for specific projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area on the construction site.
- Collaborate with team members to complete remodeling projects efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial painting or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using power tools and equipment safely.
- Knowledge of frame carpentry techniques is a plus.
- Experience with concrete finishing is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols on the construction site.
