OEM is seeking an Electromechanical Assembly Technician who takes pride in building high-quality equipment. This position is ideal for someone with strong soldering skills, experience assembling precision electromechanical systems, and a desire to provide high quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble electromechanical equipment from engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Perform precision soldering of electronic components, connectors, and wiring assemblies.
- Build and route wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and electrical subassemblies.
- Assemble mechanical structures, enclosures, sensors, and precision components.
- Perform electrical continuity checks and basic functional testing using multimeters and test equipment.
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure they meet OEM quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area.
- Identify opportunities to improve assembly processes, tooling, and production efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of electromechanical or electronics assembly experience.
- Strong precision soldering skills.
- Experience assembling wiring harnesses and cable assemblies.
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly documentation.
- Experience using multimeters and basic electronic test equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Comfortable performing repetitive precision work throughout the day.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
