- This position will aid the Trauma Program Director and Trauma Medical Director in the implementation of various operational functions, program assessments, planning, organizing, implementation, budgeting, performance improvement, education, and marketing communications

You will need to be able to coordinate and assist in validating the collection and presentation of data required to maintain trauma center verification, and must have the knowledge, technical expertise, skills and competencies to perform data collection, reports/ presentations, maintenance of trauma billing, administrative coordination of trauma educational programs, such as but not limited to Advanced Trauma Life Support, (ATLS), Rural Trauma Team Development Course, (RTTDC)

You will be responsible for performing administrative duties and communication with national organizations involving trauma education i.e. American College of Surgeons (ACS), Emergency Nurses Association (ENA), and for the Trauma Registry

You will be a resource to the Trauma Registrars and data report/ validation requests deliverable to the TPD and/or FWD of Trauma Services, ensure trauma data downloads are completed in a timely manner for County, State and National governing bodies, i.e. Clark County, State of Nevada, ACS, National Trauma Data Base (NTDB), and Trauma Quality Improvement Program (TQIP)

You will ensure the Trauma program has the supplies, resources, and information for the success of the various team members up to and including the Trauma Program Director, Trauma Medical Director(s), Trauma PI RN(s), Trauma Clinical Educator(s), Trauma Nurse Practitioner(s), Trauma Surgeons, Trauma Surgery Residents, the Trauma Registrars, Injury Prevention Coordinator(s), and Trauma Resus Rn(s)

The scope of your work in this role will encompass assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating program needs and oversees the orientation of new team members and you will support the Trauma Program to ensure trauma center verification is maintained
- Education: All education and degrees must be from an accredited institution (REQUIRED)

Bachelor’s Degree (REQUIRED)

Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration or Business (Preferred)

Experience: Strong skills in spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, other technical and organizational skills needed

Special Qualifications: Administrative ATLS Course Coordinator or within 1 year of hire (REQUIRED)

Administrative TNCC Course Coordinator experience (PREFERRED)

Strong communication: Strong verbal/written skills and able to work diplomatically with internal and external customers/ colleagues
