Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, residential units, or common areas including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces regularly
- Restock supplies like toiletries, towels, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests or residents
- Conduct floor care activities including carpet cleaning, polishing hard floors, and applying protective treatments
- Manage janitorial tasks such as waste removal, window cleaning, and detailed surface cleaning to uphold cleanliness standards
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to requests or concerns from guests or residents in a friendly manner
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with janitorial or custodial expertise
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Ability to perform floor care tasks including carpet cleaning and floor polishing effectively
- Experience with laundry operations and handling various fabrics with care
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures or housekeeper management is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings
