Clinical Director / QHP Counseling Supervisor

The Recovery Center of Niagara is seeking a dedicated Clinical Director to lead our inpatient substance abuse treatment team. In this vital role, you will spearhead trauma-informed care, oversee a dynamic multidisciplinary team, and directly shape the continuum of care that changes lives.
Key Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership: Ensure the safe, high-quality delivery of clinical services in alignment with our program's core philosophy and standards.

Staff Oversight & Development: Direct and mentor a multidisciplinary team including Clinical Supervisors, Counselors, Compliance Data Entry Clerk, Referral care Coordinators, and Recreation Coordinators.

Patient Care: Manage initial assessments for newly arrived patients, assign caseloads, and actively provide individual and group therapy, case management, and crisis intervention.

Program & Curriculum Management: Plan and evaluate clinical services, review new curricula for appropriateness, and ensure all staff are fully trained.

Compliance & Aftercare: Oversee comprehensive aftercare planning and ensure all clinical record-keeping and charts meet governing agency regulations.
Schedule
Exempt Role - (weekends, nights holiday and on call requirements)
Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
This is a strictly on-site position. Daily in-person attendance at our Newfane
New York location is required for this role
Education & Licensing: Master’s Degree and New York State Licensure as a Qualified Health Professional (QHP) preferred (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LMHC). CASAC Advanced or Master level or NYSED licensed QHP Required.-
This is a strictly on-site position. Daily in-person attendance at our Newfane, New York location is required for this role.

Experience: 5 years of proven, progressive experience delivering and managing substance abuse treatment, ideally in an inpatient setting.

Expertise: Strong background in trauma-informed care, family therapy, and clinical supervision.

Availability: Exempt status with weekend on-call responsibilities for clinical escalations.
